Truth: The best cream cheeses are those that make your breath smell real bad. My new favorite? Garlic & Herb. It’s delicious. And stinky. But mostly very delicious.

I recently went to Son of a Gun in Los Angeles (#7 on the list) and everything we ate - shrimp toast (best ever), hiramasa poke, fried chicken sandwich, alligator schnitzel - was amazing. If you’re in LA, definitely check it out. The restaurant is small but they hold seats for walk-ins. We stopped in late on a Saturday night, a little after 9p, and were seated in about 30 minutes....

Anyone want to go apple picking? The orchards are open at Terhune Orchards in Princeton, NJ. And they also have a winery! Let’s pick lots of apples, eat lots of donuts, and get lost in a cornstalk maze. While drinking lots of cider and wine. Hooray!
